Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with the customers via inbound and outbound sales and customer support emails
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Generate and source out leads through LinkedIn and other channels
- Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements and Skills:
- At least 1-2 years of proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
- Experience working with B2B clients
- Prior experience in generating leads and using lead generation platforms
- Background working with clients in the IT consulting niche or IT Industry is a huge advantage. Preferably clients based in Singapore
- Excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written
- Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
