Job Overview:

We are hiring an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist for our remote BPO team to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, set up accounts and VPNs, and manage backups and security updates. The ideal candidate has good English skills, basic knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and cybersecurity, and experience with remote access tools like RDP, SSH, VNC, AnyDesk, and TeamViewer.

Key Responsibilities:      

  • Provide basic technical support via chat, email, or ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist in setting up user accounts, email access, remote work tools, and VPN connections.
  • Perform vulnerability scans, apply patches, and manage cloud-based backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation of IT procedures, incidents, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with client-side IT teams to align infrastructure and security requirements.
  • Document and escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain service quality.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in remote IT support
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with remote tools such as RDP, SSH, VNC, AnyDesk, and TeamViewer.
  • Basic understanding of VPNs and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity basics and data backup processes is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Previous IT support experience is an advantage but not required.
