Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled IT Specialist to manage endpoint deployment, security, and compliance across our organization. The role includes configuring and securing devices, managing patching and vulnerabilities, enforcing access controls, and supporting IT operations in line with ISO 27001 and HIPAA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Deployment & Configuration
- Prepare and configure new devices (laptops/desktops) with operating systems, core applications, VPN, AnyDesk, and collaboration tools.
- Apply baseline security configurations (BIOS/UEFI settings, encryption, firmware updates, antivirus, firewall).
- Manage device asset registration, tagging, and documentation.
- Patch Management & Vulnerability Remediation
- Implement and monitor patching schedules for OS and third-party software.
- Track, test, and deploy security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Conduct periodic vulnerability scans and validate remediation.
- Document patch compliance and generate reports for audits.
- Identity & Access Management
- Join devices to the domain/MDM and enforce MFA/SSO policies.
- Manage user access rights, onboarding, and secure password handovers.
- Ensure secure storage and controlled sharing of credentials.
- Security & Compliance
- Enforce endpoint security policies in line with ISO 27001 and HIPAA standards.
- Monitor devices via SIEM/endpoint protection systems.
- Support incident response, including remote wipe and device lockdown.
- Ensure logging, monitoring, and compliance documentation are up to date.
- Support & Documentation
- Provide Tier 2 IT support for endpoint, software, and connectivity issues.
- Train staff on endpoint use, security policies, and IT procedures.
- Maintain detailed SOP documentation for deployments, patching, and password handovers.
- Coordinate with management during audits and compliance checks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience in systems administration or IT support with endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS imaging, MDM, and remote access tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Intune).
- Strong knowledge of patch management, vulnerability scanning, and antivirus solutions.
- Familiarity with VPN, MFA, SSO, and Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Understanding of ISO 27001, HIPAA, or equivalent security frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate’s Attributes
- Experience with SIEM platforms and EDR solutions.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, MCSA, CCNA, or similar.
- Prior experience in BPO/outsourcing or healthcare IT environment.
