Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:      

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employees.
  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Handle invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or an associate degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP (GSuite, Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
